Back from Philadelphia

So, I took the bar exam again...in Philadelphia. I'm pretty sure almost everyone knew that, right? Anyway, I just returned. I think things went okay. I'll know my results in early April.

I had a great time visiting with Ben and Clarissa, they showed me around a bit and took me out to dinner a couple of times. They were wonderful hosts! Ben even worked late on Tuesday so that he could leave work early on Wednesday to take me to the airpiort. I really enjoyed that extra time with him and Clarissa. Thanks guys!

While there, I also met a friend who lives in Philly and she gave me a tour of the city and pointed out all the various synagogues, JCCs, kosher restaurants, etc. Philadelphia has a seemingly vibrant Jewish community (and a very old one!).

Bar Exam Part Deux, Day Two

First of all, I wanted to relay something that I saw yesterday but forgot to mention. I saw someone get kicked out of the bar! I was busy click clacking away on my keyboard when I heard a cell phone ring. Can you believe that?! What kind of shlock brings his cell phone to the bar exam? Anyway, he actually got up and took the call!!! The CA Bar people swooped in and confiscating his exam. Idiot.

Okay, now for today's events. The multi-state went okay. I really think it is impossible to judge how you did unless you made designs on your scantron instead of actually trying to answer the questions. But I don't think I went down in flames. Interestingly, during the morning exam a bird buzzed my ponytail and landed on a table a little ways away from me. What do you think that means? Other than that my computer might get pooped on if the bird sticks around for tomorrow's exams...
