Many of the other places i am considering are in California.
So who knows where in the US i will end up? As of now, no one.
I will be sending out applications is a week or so and interviewing by October.

That's a lot of applications, is there a common app. that goes to all of your choices or do you do individual ones? What is your specialty going to be? Good luck!

Oh, i forgot to mention that i am applying for positions in General Surgery.
Subspecialties i am interested in are Surgical Oncology, Thoracic/Foregut, Hepatobiliary or Colorectal. It remains to be seen which i like the most. Whats important is that all of these involve long complicated surgeries.
There is a common application.
