so who has ever heard of the Guerilla Girls? They are a group of anonymous women that take on dead female artists as their psuedonyms and confront sexism and racism in politics, the art world, film, and culture at large. They go to schools, museums and other places but the catch is-- they do it all while wearing gorilla masks. Read on:

Dubbing ourselves the conscience of culture, we declare ourselves feminist counterparts to the mostly male tradition of anonymous do-gooders like Robin Hood, Batman, and the Lone Ranger. Right on, Ariel! Nothing gets done by passive people staying home and saying nothing. If we do not confront and challenge discrimination when we find it in society, it won't end.

this is a funny website. very funny. oh the things one can find time to read when one is home sick.
maybe you could design a poster for them.
their approach to fighting sexism is refreshing. seems like a good way for you to get involved in the issue. although im not sure los al is ready for some of those posters. but if you have your gorilla suit on....no one will know its you.
