Currently on news stands everywhere.
Lauren the first article, "Writers and Mentors," is a must read for you.
Rick Moody discusses the kind of teaching that helped or hindered him in his writing career.
He went to Brown. Then took a year off. Applied for an MFA. Rejected at Johns Hopkins
and at Iowa Writers work shop he ended up at Columbia.
I will leave the rest of the saga to you......some good insight into your future
